WHY USE THE ICS FUEL OIL PROCUREMENT PROGRAM.
Introduction…
ICS’s fuel oil procurement program is designed to help Catholic entities secure the most competitive fuel prices available to them in their area. Each entity that joins the program has three (3) options to choose from, depending on their preference in managing and budgeting their annual fuel oil expense. Working closely with a national consulting firm with expertise in fuel opil consumption and energy industry analysis, the program was put together to ensure *best practices in fuel oil deliveries and to optimize purchasing efficiencies.*NOTE on Best Practices when accepting fuel oil deliveries:
It is recommended that a representative from your organization supervise each oil delivery when it occurs at your building or plant. Click on the link on the left hand side of the page for some practical advice and precautionary steps to take that will help you best monitor your fuel deliveries.

Participants will have the option to enroll in a:
- FIXED RATE PLAN with no price fluctuation or vendor change for a 12-month, annual contract
TERM: One year and begins the day contract is signed
VENDOR: Selected vendor remains your provider for the entire term of the contract
PRICE: Price per gallon remains the same for the entire 12-month term
OR:- VARIABLE PRICING PROGRAM schedule whereby the price per gallon will change each month throughout the term.
TERM: One year and begins the day contract is signed
VENDOR: Selected vendor remains your provider for the entire term of the contract
PRICE: Price per gallon varies every month
OR:- SPOT DELIVERY OPTION
TERM: None
VENDOR: Varies, as selected by participating entity (church, school, etc.)
PRICE: Price per gallon can change every day
NOTE: Under this option, it is understood that the fuel price may fluctuate daily, and the amount of the per gallon amount billed will be the vendor’s actual price reflected on the day order is placed. -
INTERESTED IN ENROLLING?
Click HERE to enroll in the program. The form asks you to provide us with basic information about your fuel oil provider(s) and your organizations fuel oil rate.
Once the form has been submitted, you will be contacted by a representative from ICS who will further explain how the program works and advise on next steps. ICS will provide you with a password that will be needed in order to access the fuel oil pricing grid for your deanery. -
